Day 1-Puerto Rico, San Juan-we ran 9 km today in our sightseeing efforts. Beautiful!
Day 2-Princess Caribbean and a sunny, lazy day at sea.
Day 3-Barbados-5 km run. I was honored to meet Tom, Tammy and Whitney White from Buena Vista, Colorado. Dr White chose to amputate his leg after a degenerative problem with his left leg (due to a motorcycle accident in his 20's) left him unable to run. For full story go to Life and Limb at Runners World.
All three easily outrun me....yes, even little Whitney!
Day 4-St Lucia 9 km run to the Vigie Light house. Wow! Are these Islands hilly!
Day 5-Antigua 13 km run to Fort Barrington in the morning and a 7 km "hash" run with the local running club in the afternoon
Day 6-Tortola-the home to the steepest climb I have ever done! It was so high-it was laughable...if only I could catch my breath to do so!!
Day 7-St Thomas and 5 km prediction run. Apparently, I have no idea what pace I am running. My legs today-felt like tree stumps.
